The Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas ended Friday's running at the Red Bull Ring top of the time sheets, but Max Verstappen was back on top in Saturday's practice session – and over half a second quicker than the Silver Arrows.
AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly and Antonio Giovinazzi in the Alfa Romeo completed the top five in final practice, ahead of this afternoon's qualifying session for Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix.
FP3 REPORT: Verstappen back on top in final practice in Austria, half a second ahead of Mercedes duo
Gasly's team mate Yuki Tsunoda had the hairiest moment of the session, losing the car at high speed in Turn 9 before managing to save it and avoid the barries and he slid down the grass at the Turn 10 run off.
