5 Winners and 5 Losers from Singapore

Max Verstappen secured his first-ever Singapore Grand Prix victory with a superb drive under the lights, but as he celebrated back-to-back triumphs in the Grand Prix format, others were itching to head home and reset ahead of the next event in Austin. Lawrence Barretto selects his winners and losers from Marina Bay.
Winner: Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen arrived in Singapore on the back of a first win of the season last time out in Malaysia – and he set about commanding the weekend in a manner that was reminiscent of his championship-winning years.
He converted Sprint pole into a first Sprint win of the year – and 14th in his career – with a little help from George Russell who crashed out of the lead. Then he fended off the faster Ferraris to take pole for the Grand Prix, which he converted with ease.
