BEYOND THE GRID: Guenther Steiner on his new chapter, F1’s current team bosses and what the future might hold

From broadcasting to ambassadorial work, and even writing a column for F1.com, Guenther Steiner has been a busy man since departing his role as Haas Team Principal at the start of the year.
In F1’s latest mini break, Steiner stopped by for a wide-ranging chat on the Beyond The Grid podcast, covering that rollercoaster, decade-long stint on the pit wall, how it all came to an end and exactly what occupies his time today.
Steiner tells host Tom Clarkson why he feels he stayed at Haas too long, picks out the driver he rates as the best on the current F1 grid, and names the team bosses – and former counterparts – he is most impressed by.
There’s also time to talk about the Italian’s transition to broadcasting at Grand Prix weekends and the latest book he has penned about the F1 world, as well as ponder what might be next in his life and career.
