F2: O’Sullivan wins shortened Spa Sprint Race

After a rain delay, Zak O’Sullivan was the victor in the Spa-Francorchamps Sprint Race for ART Grand Prix. The Briton converted from Pole Position into Turn 1 and built up an early lead over MP Motorsport’s Dennis Hauger.
The race was then neutralised by a Safety Car for the stranded Josep María Martí, who came to a halt ahead of Pouhon in his Campos Racing #21 car. Once that was cleared, weather conditions had worsened as the rain continued to intensify, leading to the race being red flagged after seven laps.

With the radars suggesting little to no improvement in conditions, the race was called early, meaning only the top five scored points with under 50% of the scheduled racing distance completed.
Trident’s Richard Verschoor rounded out the podium places in third, while Zane Maloney and Jak Crawford were the final points scorers in fourth and fifth places respectively.
