F3: Mercedes Junior Stromsted takes maiden F3 win with dominant Spa Sprint Race drive
Noah Stromsted took his first race victory in FIA Formula 3 by six seconds in Belgium.

Noah Stromsted cruised to his first race victory in FIA Formula 3 by six seconds over PREMA Racing’s Ugo Ugochukwu.
The Dane started from second on the grid and settled in behind pole sitter Freddie Slater at the start, but was quickly able to use DRS to clear the Hitech TGR rookie in the opening few laps.
From there, the TRIDENT driver established a comfortable buffer over the chasing pack to the tune of several seconds and went on to earn his first victory in the Championship.
Ugochukwu continued his impressive string of performances to earn his maiden F3 podium. The McLaren Development Driver made several clinical moves to improve up the order from seventh on the grid.
Rounding out the podium was Charlie Wurz, who also earned his first podium of the 2025 campaign.
Meanwhile, Championship leader Rafael Câmara rounded out a hugely positive day for the TRIDENT team, finishing P5 having started from 11th position. It lifted the Italian outfit back to the top of the Teams’ Standings ahead of Sunday’s Feature Race.
Title rival Nikola Tsolov finished one place ahead in P4 to narrow the gap in the Championship to 28 points, while Tim Tramnitz dropped to third in the Standings after finishing outside the top 10.
Mari Boya remained fourth in the Drivers’ Championship after he was hit with a late-race time penalty for exceeding track limits, which dropped him out of the points.
