FIA publishes F1 2017 entry list
Formula One racing's governing body the FIA have published the official entry list for 2017, with just four seats - including Nico Rosberg's vacated drive at Mercedes - left to be filled.
The Silver Arrows only have Lewis Hamilton confirmed for the forthcoming season following Rosberg's decision to retire after clinching his first world championship crown. Speculation continues to swirl about the identity of Rosberg's replacement.
Sauber also have one seat open, alongside Marcus Ericsson, while Manor are yet to confirm either of their 2017 drivers. Team have until the eve of the 2017 season opener in Australia to formally confirm their line-ups.
The entry list also confirms the numbers that rookies Stoffel Vandoorne and Lance Stroll will use for the season. Vandoorne will carry the #2 on his McLaren, while Stroll will race with #18 at Williams.
