HIGHLIGHTS: All the action from the first qualifying session of 2020 as Bottas claims pole
Two hundred and sixteen days since they last faced a qualifying session back in Abu Dhabi, the F1 drivers took to the track at the Red Bull Ring to decide the order for the the Austrian Grand Prix, with Valtteri Bottas continuing Mercedes’ domination of the weekend with his 12th career pole.
It was a less happy qualifying hour for rivals Ferrari, however, with Sebastian Vettel failing to make it out of Q2, while Charles Leclerc could only manage P7, with a lap that was nearly a second slower than his pole, this time last year.
