HIGHLIGHTS: Relive FP1 as Norris sets the pace from Piastri after lengthy delay in Baku
After a lengthy session delay for track inspections, Lando Norris finished fastest in FP1 ahead of the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Lando Norris set the pace in Free Practice 1 for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from McLaren team mate and title rival Oscar Piastri.
The Briton posted a 1m 42.704s around the Baku Circuit which left him 0.310 clear of Drivers' Championship leader Piastri, who was forced to wait in the garage for an extended period of the session due to a power unit issue.
The problem occurred during a lengthy session stoppage, however, after the exit kerb at Turn 16 was damaged, which then prompted a full circuit inspection for almost half of the one-hour session.
