Smooth operator
Carlos Sainz enjoyed a memorable maiden top-three F1 finish at Interlagos – even if he missed out on the official podium ceremony, only inheriting P3 once Lewis Hamilton had been penalised. No matter though – the Spaniard still drew plenty of praise for his performance, not least from former McLaren driver Fernando Alonso, while his team made sure they celebrated their first podium since 2014 in style…
