Just as in Spain last time out, we have a Verstappen-Norris front row in Austria. Unlike in Spain, the gap between them in qualifying was considerable – meaning the pole-sitting world champion holds the start advantage, and his McLaren rival will be desperate to make the perfect getaway.
Out to crash the Turn 1 party – obviously not literally – will be the row-two drivers, Mercedes’ George Russell and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz, who have their respective team mates Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc immediately behind on row three.

Oscar Piastri starts P7 in the sister McLaren after his best Q3 lap was disallowed for exceeding track limits, followed by Sergio Perez, who was almost a second down on his illustrious Red Bull team mate. Haas’s Nico Hulkenberg and Alpine’s Esteban Ocon complete the top ten in Spielberg.
At the very back, Zhou Guanyu will start from the pit lane after Kick Sauber opted to make changes to his car's set-up following qualifying.
