OFFICIAL GRID: Who will win battle of the Brits into Turn 1 at Silverstone – while Perez starts from the pit lane

The three Brits up front may have stolen the qualifying headlines, but with the Red Bull of a certain Max Verstappen lurking fourth on grid, George Russell, Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris know they can take nothing for granted when the red lights go out at Silverstone.
Behind the leading quartet, row three starters Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg will be looking to get in on the Turn 1 action, the latter having used his Ferrari-powered Haas to spectacularly out-qualify both of the Scuderia’s own drivers.

Carlos Sainz is their leading contender in P7, the Spaniard sharing row four with the Aston Martin of Lance Stroll, the Canadian having got the better of tenth-placed team mate Fernando Alonso. Between the green cars – and completing the top 10 – is Williams’ Alex Albon.
Moving attention to the back of the grid, alone on the final row will be Pierre Gasly, who is obliged to start there after multiple power unit elements were changed on his Alpine earlier in the weekend.
And starting from the pit lane will be Sergio Perez, who beached his Red Bull in the gravel during a damp Q1, prompting the team to take the opportunity to give him a new engine for the Grand Prix.
