PADDOCK PASS: All the reaction from the drivers after a historic Turkish Grand Prix
The 2020 Turkish Grand Prix would have gone down in the history books as a special race even without Lewis Hamilton claiming a record-equalling seventh drivers’ title.
But claim it Hamilton did, as he put in a mesmeric drive in the tricky conditions at Istanbul Park to claim his 10th win of the season – and with it, that prized seventh crown.
There was plenty of drama behind Hamilton as well, though, with Sergio Perez and Sebastian Vettel both finding their way onto the podium for the first time this year – while polesitter Lance Stroll was left a bemused ninth, as Valtteri Bottas could only manage 14th, on a day when he needed to outscore Hamilton by eight points to keep his title hopes alive.
