PADDOCK PASS: The drivers’ excitement builds as they prepare for Portimao’s F1 debut
Formula 1’s drivers are preparing to tackle their second brand-new circuit of 2020, as the F1 circus arrives at the awesomely undulating Portimao track, ahead of the return of the Portuguese Grand Prix.
Excitement at taking on the Algarve venue was uppermost in most drivers’ thoughts on Thursday then. But there was big news sweeping through the paddock, too, with the announcement that Haas will replace drivers Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen with a box-fresh line-up for 2021 – leaving those drivers to consider their futures beyond the end of this season.
