Lando Norris may have started from pole position for the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix but it was team mate Oscar Piastri who’d end the first lap in P1 after a strong start from the Australian.
Norris was quick to try and cover off his team mate, starting alongside him in P2, with Max Verstappen joining the party from P3 as the trio approached Turn 1 three-wide.

But Verstappen was forced to take to the run-off as Piastri muscled his way into the lead – Norris briefly relegated to P4 behind Lewis Hamilton before he made his way back in front around the outside of Turn 3, while Verstappen would hand P2 back to Norris a few laps later.
