Renault launch 2020 livery ahead of Australian Grand Prix
It’s been a closely-guarded secret, but on the eve of the new season in Australia, Renault unveiled a near identical livery to 2019 - and announced a new title sponsor…
The French manufacturer, who finished fifth in the constructors’ championship last year, ran an all-black interim livery during six days of pre-season testing at Barcelona ahead of a grand unveil in Melbourne.

And on Wednesday, they pulled off the covers to reveal a livery that retained the yellow and black with which they have become synonymous since they returned to the grid as a works team in 2016.
They also announced a title sponsor and logistics partner in the form DP World, who specialise in providing global supply chain solutions for cargo owners.
“This is an extremely interesting and exciting collaboration across multiple disciplines,” said Renault Chairman Jerome Stoll. “We look forward to working with DP World, a leading global logistics provider, to explore ways of improving our efficiency and mitigating our environmental impact.
“After the ambitions expressed by Formula One to become fully carbon neutral by 2030, we are constantly evaluating ways to reduce our carbon footprint and our turnaround time.
“We expect that working with DP World will reveal opportunities for tangible solutions to some of the logistical challenges faced by our F1 team’s supply chain and by extension, the automotive industry at a larger scale.”
Renault’s R.S.20 will hit the track donning its new livery on Friday, when the opening practice of the Formula 1 season takes place at Melbourne’s Albert Park.
