Lance Stroll hit the brakes for Turn 20 and the pedal went to the floor.
His race was over on Lap 13. Little did he know, however, that his brake failure had just cost Lando Norris a shot at victory too.
Stroll’s stranded Aston Martin required a Virtual Safety Car to be cleared from the run-off area and Norris had just past pit exit to start Lap 14 when it was called, but Kimi Antonelli was there just in time to capitalise.
