AlphaTauri’s new F1 car, the AT04, has hit the track for a shakedown, with the squad heading to Misano to carry out some initial running before pre-season testing gets under way.
Following their fashion-inspired New York livery launch, AlphaTauri returned to Europe and the Italian venue that is located around 80km south of their Faenza factory.

On Tuesday, a video of Yuki Tsunoda emerging from the pits was shared on AlphaTauri’s social channels, marking the first time the AT04 has been seen in the flesh.
Tsunoda has been joined at AlphaTauri by Nyck de Vries for the 2023 campaign, with the Dutchman taking the place of Alpine-bound Pierre Gasly following an impressive stand-in performance for Williams at last year’s Italian Grand Prix.
Tsunoda and De Vries will be tasked with helping AlphaTauri move up from P9 – and the penultimate spot – in the 2022 constructors’ standings, with team boss Franz Tost expressing hope that “the whole field will be much closer together” this year.
