Kevin Magnussen led Max Verstappen for the start of the 2022 Sao Paulo Sprint at Interlagos, while the Alpines had a close call.
The Haas driver took a sensational maiden pole for himself and Haas on Friday and thus took P1 for Saturday afternoon's Sprint, leading away at an action-packed start that saw Alpine pair Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon make contact.
Verstappen eventually pried the lead away from the Haas driver but there was plenty more action to come in Brazil.
