Thursday’s opening practice session in Las Vegas may have come to an early end, but there was still time for drivers to get some laps on the board and offer fans an initial look at the spectacular Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
Coming in at 6.201 kilometres, the 17-turn layout winds its way past some of the most iconic hotels, casinos and tourist attractions across the City of Lights, including a blast along the famous Strip.
FP1: First practice session in Las Vegas brought to early end amid red flags
In the early exchanges of FP1, it was Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc who rose to the fore, clocking a time of 1m 40.909s as he and the rest of the field got accustomed to their new surroundings.
