WEEKEND WARM-UP: Austin hosts the latest chapter in F1’s 2025 title race as the Sprint format returns
Formula 1 moves on to Austin and the Circuit of The Americas for the United States Grand Prix weekend.
Formula 1 has swapped Singapore for Austin as the 2025 season continues with the United States Grand Prix – and our F1 TV team are here to preview all the Sprint weekend action.
At the top of the agenda is the aftermath of the coming together between McLaren team mates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri last time out, which overshadowed the squad’s Teams’ Championship triumph.
Norris has admitted “there are and will be repercussions for me until the end of the season”, but what does that mean? And will it hand an advantage to Piastri, who sits 22 points clear in the standings?
That’s not to mention Max Verstappen and Red Bull, who have enjoyed a resurgence at recent events – the Dutchman now just 63 points back with 174 still up for grabs over the final six rounds.
There are also new deals for Mercedes drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli to discuss, as well as the likelihood of Ferrari getting their first win of 2025 on the board after Charles Leclerc’s 2024 Austin win.
Hit go on the video player above to join Laura Winter, James Hinchcliffe, Jolyon Palmer and Ruth Buscombe as they run through these talking points and plenty more ahead of the United States Grand Prix.
